Hello
Xmas is coming in a hurry this year, I think I said that last year as well. When my children were young I was always so organized and had the xmas shopping well done by October most years, now I am the queen of the last minute. How did that happen ? Haha.
I have been out shopping with my sons lovely girlfriend Chantel, with two sons, what a blessing it is to have another woman around to share these pleasures. With her help I have managed to complete all of my xmas shopping, she really helped with ideas of what to buy everyone. Now I am ready 'almost' and can't wait for everyone to open their presents.
I have also been making xmas presents for friends and have a few ideas to share with you all. You can never have too many pin cushions. I also love thread catchers and have made this one with a pin cushion to match for a friend.

I think this container could have many uses and I have made it so that it will hang onto the tray of my sew easy table. I thought our sew in day ladies might enjoy making these in Janurary.
Happy Stitching

Lemoyne Stars have always been a favorite of mine, although they take a little time I think it is time well spent. Have you ever made these lovely stars? I always found them a little intimidating but with a few a steps that are tried and true I found them easy. Here's how I went about making mine.
