Nine Patch blocks and an update on your book orders.
The books have arrived ! They had a slight hold up in customs, which has caused the delay. But all good now!
All the books are signed, if you pre-ordered Autumn Bouquet you
should have it very soon. I have packaged and sent away all your orders. Please allow at least 10 working days if you live anywhere other than New Zealand.
I still have plenty of books left if you would like one. You can find it here
P.S I hope you are making loads of nine patches, here is a picture of my latest block. I am currently working on the layout, and may have added a little bit of applique..... just couldn't help myself.

Now that the holidays are well and truly over, and we have started the year 2020. I am back in my sewing room while the house is peacefully quiet, my process for starting the new year is to finish some of the quilts that did not get finished at the end of 2019. One of the quilts to finish is the Treasures in the scrap bin quilt from the sew along, and as I am working on it I would be like to share my thoughts with you.
Last night I had a wonderful impromptu visit from my lovely friend Anna she brought me the most beautiful bunch of flowers from her amazing garden. Such a special gift, I am truly blessed to have her as my friend. Which made me remember a block inspired by her Roses called Anna's Treasure from my Rambling Ways quilt.
I have been moving on with quilting the treasures from the scrap bin quilt. All the stitch in the ditch is done, now it is time to decide on a plan for the free motion quilting that will add to the fun of this little quilt........
