A finished Quilt | Friendship Stars Quilt
The Friendship Stars Quilt has been a pleasure to make from start to finish. It has been one of those quilts where everything fell into place without a hitch.
With the quilting I decided on overall free motion feathers, will a few circles and swirls thrown in here and there to mix it up a bit. I am really pleased with the outcome.
I hope you like it too..........
It is stunning, love the circles quilted with the feathers.
What a beautiful quilt – and what beautiful quilting too! love it!
Absolutely gorgeous! Congratulations.
I love the way you used your friendship blocks to create this beautiful quilt. Thanks for sharing another lovely project with us!
How to press a Flying Geese Border ? This is the question I was asked so I have done my best to answer as it is not exactly what you might be expecting to see. Read more to see how I pressed the seams to get nice flat intersections.
Making four Flying Geese units at a time is a great time saver, and a wonderful method. I love to oversize the units and trim them down to the correct size for perfect blocks. Read how I go about making these versatile units that I use in almost every quilt I make.
