Creating applique flowers for the Adelicia sampler quilt. The applique method I like to use is turned edge and invisibly sewn by machine. It looks the same as if it were sewn by hand and I love doing my applique this way. This is my process for making the flower on the Adelicia sampler quilt.

Ayla is my beautiful new granddaughter, how wonderful it is to have a new addition to the family. This has inspired me to make a bassinette quilt for her, and since she has definitely stolen my heart. I am making her a heart quilt. Just in time for Valentine's day. Adding the borders, it always amazes me when the next step is added, how the choices of fabric can change the look of the quilt.
