Machine Quilted Embellishment

December 06, 2012

Hello Everyone The weather here today had been awful. Rain, rain and more rain. Even a tornado, where my husband works there has been a tornado. Fortunately he is fine, but there are some who are not. There has been a lot of damage done to that area and people who are not so fortunate. I am glad I decided to stay home and work on my quilt. I have had lots of fun playing with threads and doodling designs on my quilt. I used a 40 weight cotton thread to bring out the design on the leaves, flowers and stems. On the vase I used The Bottom Line 60weight just to define the quilted design. Here are some pictures of what I have been up to. 20121206-150850.jpg 20121206-151733.jpg 20121206-152247.jpg This is what my friends were up to. 20121206-151841.jpg 20121206-151922.jpg <a Happy Stitching Sharon
